One of the hardest part about working for yourself is the most important part; finding clients. Afterall, if you don't have clients you can't help others and you can't earn a revenue. Afterall, if you don't have clients, you can't run a business right? After if you don't have clients you can't help others, you can't earn a revenue which means you wo't be able to run your vubshf

Ask for referals

No one likes feeling like they’re being sold to. However, a lot of people are willing to help you if you let them know what you do and to refer them to others in their network who may be looking for your services in the future. This goes for previous clients as well. Make sure that when you finish a project, to ask for referrals afterwards.

Network

There are plenty of opportunities to network online AND offline. One of the biggest online options is LinkedIn. In fact, a study found that out of 122 million people who received interviews with LinkedIn, 35.5 million having been hired through someone they connected with on the site. In addition to LinkedIn, there are plenty of in person networking events out there as well and even if an event isn’t specifically a networking event, the opportunity is always there.

Having Service Packages

It’s a lot easier for you and perspective clients to understand what it is you’re offering if you have packages in place outlining what they can expect and will receive by working with you (you can also refer to my website for this one ;) ).

Improve your website

Expanding on the topic of websites, your website is your time to shine! An effectively designed website communicates organization, clarity, and credibility. By having a clean, easy to navigate, and understandable website makes clients feel more confident and comfortable working with you.

Always offer help & advice

Gatekeeping information doesn’t help anyone. Aren’t you in the business of helping others? Offering support and advice communicates that you know you’re stuff and can be another way to create credibility with a potential client.

Social media is your friend

Social media is your friend. However, if your hesitant to embrace social media, I completely understand! I was on the fence about putting myself out there for awhile before a started an Instagram and YouTube channel specifically for my business. Especially starting from 0 followers on each platform. However, once I did and kept up the consistency, I was seeing more and more followers that resulted in more leads. The topic of social media is a whole other beast of a subject so I will make sure to expand on this topic in a future post.

At the end of the day there are many options out there available to you in order to find clients. Get out of your comfort zone and implement these options today! Good luck on your journey, I believe in you :)
